Current methods for detecting drug-resistant TB at Delek Hospital take four to eight weeks. With an Xpert MTB/RIF test, patients will receive their diagnosis in two hours.
Our goal for 2011 is to purchase a state-of-the-art machine for detecting drug-resistant tuberculosis for use by our friends at Delek Hospital (Dharamsala).
We need to raise $30,000.
